Location & Mountain Views
Glaramara Hotel sits at Seatoller in the Borrowdale Valley, with direct views of Borrowdale Fells from guest rooms. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop with services to Keswick every half hour and to Buttermere every 2 hours. Walkers can reach Scafell Pike via the Corridor Route, Great Gable, and Haystacks directly from the hotel.
Dining Experience
Evening meals are served as a single sitting at 7:30pm with a set menu that changes daily, offering a choice of 3-4 starters, 3-4 mains, and several desserts. Each main course is accompanied by a large serving of steamed vegetables, and homemade breads with olives are provided for the table. The hotel prepares free packed lunches for day hikes, and guests receive homemade chocolates and hot drinks after dinner.
